My Living Room Inspiration: Lived in Minimalist

One of the few good things that came out of the pandemic (besides our wedding) was taking advantage of the rental market and moving into a larger apartment on the low! After five years in our little dark and dated one bedroom apartment, right before christmas; we moved into a two bed, two bathroom apartment! My dream of having more than one window and a home my plants deserve came true!
So you can get the full picture to why this move was a big deal, below is what our old living room looked like. This picture was taken the week we moved in February 2015.
humble beginnings
In less than three weeks, we signed a new lease, ended our current one, and moved  to south of Boston. Now, with a fresh start came the ability to curate a totally different space than what we were used to. We had way more space which meant we needed furniture to complement the space.
Thankfully, I’m no stranger to All Modern and their parent brand Wayfair.com.  Fast shipping and excellent customer service are also a bonus to their selection of gorgeous items.
For the living room, I wanted to be able to really play up the apartment’s big windows by keeping the light flowing through the space.  The selection of modern, clean, and minimalist furniture on All modern were perfect for my home decor goals.
My last apartment was small and over-stuffed so I wanted to curate my living room with a minimalist mindset while still having it be realistic and functional.  I still love colors and textures, and my home has been described as an indoor jungle but I knew with All modern’s  minimalist collection I could achieve my ideal blend of lived in minimalism.
I’m highlighting a few of the things I’m gravitating towards.  I’m collaborating with AllModern so stay tuned for the living room reveal!

Keep the minimalist living room inspiration going with AllModern for: Minimalist Sofas, Minimal TV Stands, and Modern End + Side Tables

With love,

Dani

  1. I am really loving the theme/design of your weblog.
Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility problems?
A few of my blog audience have complained about my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Safari.
Do you have any advice to help fix this problem?

    • Thank you, this is a new theme! I have gotten emails from google console about random issues like text showing too large on mobile but I also received those emails with my last templates as well. Sorry I don’t have any advice on that front!
