Happy self-care Sunday!
I wanted to share with you a few podcasts that I am loving and actually make me look forward to Sundays. Now, I say Sundays because nothing makes my wash day fly by like listening to my favorite podcasts. I have for you three podcasts that you need to listen to that pretty much covers everything a self-loving badass would need.
They are all by amazing, smart, and creative women that inspire me to work hard, honor my story and keep kicking ass. I’m giving you the name, descriptions, and reasons why I love them. Check them out and let me know what you think, I have a feeling you will love them too!

- hey, girl.
- hey, girl. is a podcast that unites the voices of phenomenal women near and far. Created with sisterhood and storytelling in mind, author Alex Elle sits down with people who inspire her. From friends to family members and strangers, the hey, girl. guests give us a peek into their stories through candid and intimate conversations.
- I’m pretty sure all of you have seen at least one of Alex Elle’s post floating around Instagram. To me she is the self-care queen, her poetry resonates with thousands and thousands of women, it sometimes feels like she is writing exactly what I need to see when I need to see it. Her affirmations are powerful reminders of what we need to see and believe in our self-love journey. Her message is to give yourself permission to bloom, to say no, to cry, to honor your truth, honor your story and honor yourself.

2. The Goal Digger Podcast
- The live-workshop style business podcast that is helping thousands redefine success and chase bolder dreams. You can train from the experts how to dig in, do the work, and tackle your biggest goals along the way.
- What I love about this Podcast is that Jenna keeps it real, if you hop over to her Instagram stories you will probably see her make-up free, messy bun, and in sweats. What she has to offer to her audience is a no fluff way of getting closer to their dreams while also highlighting other women’s stories and strength. I thank Jenna for reminding me that vulnerability is powerful and it takes strength to tap into and use it. Jenna doesn’t sell the idea that we all can live a fabulous life off Instagram by posting pretty pictures of our lattes. She also doesn’t shy away from topics such as miscarriage, online trolls, and loneliness. Jenna uses her platform to connect authentically with her audience while sharing what she thinks it takes for us to build a business that gives us the life to make stacks of money while in our sweats.

3. Passing Through
- Nneka Julia shares revelations and wisdom collected through travel, conversation, and self-education. Passing Through the podcast, shares stories about the places and spaces we all pass through.
- Nneka is a true storyteller, from her voice to her use of audio in her podcast she can teleport readers right into the story. I only knew about her podcast because I stumbled on her Instagram and spent what could have been close to two hours watching ALL of her Instagram stories. The way she spoke, not just her velvety voice but the way she spoke I was hooked. I found myself staying in bed laughing at my phone like I was talking to one of my girlfriends. She is funny AF! Do yourself a favor go to her page and watch her ” Waste his time Wednesday” series and then fire up her podcast. Her Podcasts are short, vivid and seductive… exactly what you need if you need to step away from your own life into someone else’s story.
Those three podcasts while uniquely different in their own way provide humor, insight, and knowledge. I put a podcast on during my commute to work, when I’m cooking dinner or cleaning because the best part about it that I don’t need to use my eyes. When I first heard about Podcasts I thought it was only something old white men listened to when learning about the stock market or interest rates. I had no idea there was this other creative world out there that you can plug into whenever you want, with a pause and rewind button.
The Podcast is the verbal version of a blog post and this busy girl is here for it! Sundays are for podcasts and face maks Comment below your favorite podcast.
With love,
Dani
